Pre Race
Well, Endurocross 2010 is over, and I feel better coming out of the series then I ever have before. Things went pretty well considering, and I still have some good room to improve upon myself in the coming year.
The Vegas Final Round was a fun, difficult, somewhat stress free weekend for me, and everyone who is behind the Off Road Support program got their fair share of excitement this weekend. After spending the entire day watching the morning races and qualifiers, I almost missed my hot lap!

This last weekend my family and I took a trip North into Nevada for one of my favorite rides of the year, The Searchlight Grand Prix. The race is hosted by the Canepa family, and since there is no series or anything associated with it, it is just one of those fun events that I have looked forward to all year. This year we were bringing a couple people for the first time, and I was really excited about both the Pro and Team races on Saturday afternoon.

This past weekend was the 8th round of the National Hare and Hound Series, and up until this point I just felt like I was locked into the 5th overall position forever. No matter how well I did, Destry and the guys ahead of me seemed to just get enough points to hold me off. But 90 miles into the So Cal National, and things started looking up!
My weekend started with a stop Bessemer Mine Road where my dad was going to get some work done for the final National in two weeks. Kyle Bristol and I rode while Ryan and my dad worked on the 100’s race. It was a good morning and definitely much cooler than the rest of the weekend would be. We got back in around 3 PM and went into town for lunch before heading out to Boone Road for the race. Every time I get to eat at Adelita’s in Lucerne things seem to go well. We were hoping that this week wouldn’t be any different.
