Argubright/Brabec Head back East for GNCC

Off Road Support was proud to bring Jacob Argubright and Ricky Brabec to West Virginia and SnowShoe Mountain, for round 9 of the Can Am GNCC off road series. Traveling over 2000 miles, the two AA class competitors struggled to keep up in the field of Woods-Racing veterans.

Argubright and his Ed Villanueva prepped KX450F got a good jump, and  followed KTM’s Mike Brown deep into the woods before suffering a crash that would find himself neck deep in mud. “I just held the bike up until someone could get to me. I didn’t want to flood the engine, so I just sat there until help arrived.” Ricky Brabec eventually arrived to help Jake out of the mud, and the two continued on.

Three hours later, and with multiple mud infested mishaps behind them, the California Desert Racers finished what is being dubbed “The Toughest Off Road Race in America.”  “Give these boys a couple races in the woods and they will have the hang of it” Steve Argubright said at the end.

Finishing 60th overall, Jacob Argubright finished 13th in the pro class, ahead of names such as Mike Brown and Thad Duvall. Fellow district 37 competitor Ricky Brabec finished about 15 spots later and 15th in the pro class.
