NHHA Round 7 Race Report- Jacob Argubright

This last weekend basically went as good as anything ever has for me.  I got to ride in some of the most amazing conditions I ever have, I got to meet a ton of people who were excited to meet me and talk racing, and I got myself on the podium at a National Hare and Hound!

The Vikings MC National has historically been a great race for me. In the past two years I have finished 6^th and 5^th overall, and this year I knew that I could do better!  The race is usually very rocky, and has lots of trails that are virtually non-existent, and that is exactly the place where I can ride my best!

Earlier in the week I came out to get some riding in and ran into David Kamo and the KTM guys. They were busy testing, and my friend AJ Madrid and I just wanted to get some good mileage in, so we went our own direction and had a fun, stress free day of riding before the rain began to fall in Lucerne.

My trip to Utah started off pretty much just like any other Utah National Hare and Hound trip has. Ryan, My dad, and I piled in the motorhome and took turns driving while Ed drove the big truck the whole way and followed us up to Jericho.

On the way, we had to stop at Chris and Patty Blais’s to drop off some equipment that my dad had built for the NHHA trailer. While we were there, Morgan Crawford was working in the garage, and we surprised them with lunch while Chris and Morgan continued to work in the Garage. They had about 5 different bikes torn apart, and were working to get them finished before they left for Jericho.
